If you prefer to stay in San Francisco, you can easily take the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) from downtown San Francisco to Berkeley. The BART trip takes about 45 minutes or so, then you have a 15 minute walk to our Center. Just be aware that on weekends the trains do not run as often. All are about 20 minute – 30 minute walking distance unless otherwise noted.

Most nearby hotels will be in the Dupont Circle area, near metro but most accessible to the workshop location by bus. This is a great neighborhood, convenient and with many good restaurants. Adams Morgan is the closest neighborhood with lodging and has some B&B’s and guesthouses. This is a very international neighborhood, LOTS of international restaurants, live music and nightlife – walking distance to the workshop location (15 min walk).The U St. Corridor is on the same metro line as the workshop location – it doesn’t have any lodging, but it’s near Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan and has great restaurants and night life.
