In the next several months, CDS will be collaborating with artist/designer Abbe Don to develop an automated online storytelling engine for life stories. The engine will allow you to place text and images on your own pages, and then allow users to come back and search for stories based on themes and authors. We envision it as a wonderful place for make a Tapestry of life stories that everyone can share. Abbe is best known for her groundbreaking interactive media piece, We Make Memories, that explored four generation of women in her family. She has worked extensively in mining stories from women and within the Jewish Community through her online Bubbe's Back Porch, and her series of Digital Story Bee© workshops.
