Shit, I still aint cool but you betta make some room for me...
Make room make space
Bridges were always interesting to me
Grew up looking at the Ambassador bridge most days of my life
"Canada" was the next city over-- don't laugh
Back and forth forth and back
Back back forth and forth -- Bridges were always something to me
The way they levitated in and took up space
connected to the land
acknowledging the water
becoming one with the air
Bridges were always interesting to me and part of my identity, not settled on one side or the other
Too 'Theatre Geek' to be 'Southwest Girl'
Too 'Southwest' to be a true 'Theatre Kid'
So Black that my PWI tried to worry me...

So 'eclectic' that I sometimes feel the whole of me was neglected by the ones who looked like me
