The Facilitator Training for Community Programs is a hybrid capacity building program for organizations that will take place over the course of 9-months. The group will meet for one week in Oakland, CA from DATES, and online prior to the Oakland meeting and for follow-up meetings after the Oakland, CA session.
StoryCenter’s goal is to build digital storytelling programming and facilitation capacity in organizations that work directly with communities. The capacity-building program will teach digital storytelling facilitation skills and support participants as they design and deliver workshops in their own communities. Participants will submit a letter of support from their community organization as part of their application.
