We create spaces for transforming lives and communities, through the acts of listening to and sharing stories. Since 1993, we have partnered with organizations around the world on projects in story facilitation, digital storytelling, and other forms of digital media production. Our public workshops support individuals in creating and sharing stories.
StoryCenter is committed to challenging white supremacy and supporting social justice, in every aspect of our work.
When we listen deeply, and tell stories,
we build a just and healthy world.

Since 1993, we have helped over 20,000 individuals share their stories. As founders of the digital storytelling movement,
we believe in the power of story.
You may know us as The Center for Digital Storytelling. In 2015, we became StoryCenter, in order to embrace the heart of our work – story. Our methods of group process and story creation serve as a reflective practice, a professional development tool, a pedagogical strategy, and as a vehicle for education, community mobilization, and advocacy.
