This new workshop offering draws on both popular education and participatory research frameworks to explore how digital storytelling can support with critically reflecting on and sharing personal narratives as a valuable form of knowledge throughout the research process.
This is the online version of the original in-person digital storytelling workshop has supported tens of thousands of storytellers as they identify a personal experience to share, develop it into a scripts and edit it into a video. Over the course of six weeks, guided by experienced StoryCenter facilitators, you will craft and produce a two to four minute digital story based on a 300-word narration script.
Join StoryCenter founder Joe Lambert in a six week workshop for people over 60. The workshop will explore new writing prompts each week, sharing of stories for feedback, and presentations on life writing, memoir, and writing for short performance. A perfect way to walk down the roads of your past.
